Michael’s Bio

Michael is an actor, singer, and director who has spent most of the last decade working for Walt Disney Theatricals and touring all over the globe. Michael was last seen on Broadway in the epic new musical Amazing Grace, the story of John Newton. Other credits include Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins; the comic hornbill, Zazu, in The Lion King; and he began his Disney run originating the role of Marlin in the world premiere of Disney’s Finding Nemo – The Musical written by team behind the Oscar winning, Frozen. Michael has opened and promoted productions in over 60 markets throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Michael continues to perform and can recently be seen in the last season of both the HBO drama Boardwalk Empire and the new series Alpha House, as well as several incarnations of Law and Order. Michael is currently an Adjunct Professor of Speech and Theater at Princeton Theological Seminary and founder of the Dialect Lab of Princeton.
